From Prototype Operations to Turnkey Vehicle Delivery
CadOmni began with a question that most manufacturers in China refused to answer.
The Model Room and the Bigger Question
In 2018, Lily Wong was leading client operations at a precision CNC prototyping firm in Shenzhen. Her team served international industrial designers and automotive studios, producing high-fidelity scale models and functional proof-of-concept parts. The work was exacting, but it stayed in the model room.
One day, a long-standing European client asked Lily something new: "Your team understands our tolerances and our timelines. Can you help us build actual vehicles — not models, but drivable units, in small volume?"
Lily spent the next six months navigating China's automotive landscape. She quickly realized the problem was not a lack of capacity. China had factories, engineers, and suppliers in abundance. What overseas clients lacked was a single point of accountability — someone who could translate their requirements, qualify the right partners, and guarantee delivery without them opening a Shanghai office.
Building the Network
Lily's search led her deep into China's automotive corridor — from engineering consultancies in Beijing to assembly lines in the Yangtze Delta. She identified a recurring pattern: capable manufacturers with strong engineering and production credentials often struggled to connect with overseas buyers who needed structured project management, English-language reporting, and export-compliance support.
The gap was not technical. It was operational and communicative. Overseas clients were burning budget on miscommunication, while Chinese manufacturers were losing qualified leads because they lacked an international-facing project layer.
Lily founded CadOmni to fill that gap — not as a factory, but as a project management and client-facing coordination company that sits between overseas buyers and China's qualified vehicle manufacturing base.
Lily Wong
A decade in precision prototyping operations and international client management before building CadOmni. Lily designed the company's project coordination methodology, SEO-driven client acquisition system, and cross-border quality assurance protocols from the ground up.
She believes overseas vehicle buyers deserve a transparent, structured entry point into China's manufacturing ecosystem — without the overhead of maintaining a local office.
How We Deliver Today
CadOmni does not own factories. We own the process — and we have spent years vetting the engineering teams, assembly partners, and test facilities that make up our manufacturing network.
When an overseas client contacts us, we run a structured discovery phase to define vehicle specifications, certification requirements, volume, and budget. We then match the project to the right engineering and production resources within our partner network, and we manage every milestone — from design release to pilot build to export documentation — as the client's single point of accountability.
Our partners handle the build. We handle the coordination, quality oversight, and communication that makes the build useful to an overseas buyer.
The Road Since
The Question
A European client asks Lily for small-volume vehicle production. The search for a reliable pathway into China's automotive supply chain begins.
The Network
CadOmni is established. First partnerships formed with certified vehicle engineering groups and assembly facilities across China's automotive corridor.
The Methodology
The four-phase delivery framework — Discover, Engineer, Validate, Deliver — is formalized after managing programs for clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
The Scale
Active vehicle programs on three continents. Full homologation support capabilities established for EU, GCC, ASEAN, and LATAM frameworks.
Today
That same operational discipline — born in a prototyping workshop, hardened through years of managing cross-border vehicle programs — is how CadOmni delivers turnkey solutions to clients who need China manufacturing expertise without the overhead of a local team.
We do not build the vehicles ourselves. We make sure the right people build them, to the right standard, and deliver them to your market with full documentation. That is the difference.
