How We Work

How We Work | CadOmni Project Management Process

How CadOmni Manages Your Vehicle Project

From first concept to production delivery, our four-phase process gives you visibility, control, and accountability — without the overhead of a China-based team.

Phase 01

Discover

Every successful project starts with a clear definition of what success looks like. In the Discover phase, we audit your concept against China's manufacturing reality.

  • Vehicle type, powertrain, and target certification framework defined
  • Volume forecast and budget parameters locked
  • Platform feasibility study — buy vs. adapt vs. develop
  • Supplier pool pre-qualified based on your quality standards
  • Project timeline and milestone map created

Deliverable: Project Scope Document with risk assessment and go/no-go recommendation.

Phase 02

Engineer

We coordinate Chinese engineering teams as an extension of your product department. Weekly syncs, shared documentation, and milestone gates keep the program on track.

  • Concept design and 3D modeling
  • Electrical architecture and powertrain integration
  • Chassis and body engineering
  • Supplier drawing release and tooling kickoff
  • Design reviews with your team via video conference

Deliverable: Engineering release package ready for prototype build.

Phase 03

Validate

Testing in China, certification for your market. We manage the entire validation loop through certified facilities and prepare homologation dossiers.

  • Functional prototype build and debug
  • Durability, environmental, and EMC testing
  • Crash simulation and safety validation (where applicable)
  • Homologation documentation preparation
  • Pre-production pilot run (10–50 units)

Deliverable: Validated vehicle design with test reports and homologation-ready paperwork.

Phase 04

Deliver

Production oversight, quality control, and export logistics. We stay on the factory floor until your vehicles are loaded for shipment.

  • Production tooling finalization
  • Supplier quality audits and incoming inspection protocols
  • Assembly line monitoring and first-article inspection
  • Export packing, documentation, and customs clearance
  • Knowledge transfer: full supplier list and QC standards handed over

Deliverable: Production-ready vehicle program with complete manufacturing documentation.
